By Creatives. For Creatives.
A creative gathering for over two thousand artists, musicians, designers, and storytellers from local churches — convening across denominations to make, worship, and build together.
DWELL began with a simple conviction — that creative people in local churches were quietly carrying a tremendous gift, and that something extraordinary happens when they gather across the lines that usually divide.
So we made room. A room for songwriters and screen designers, for liturgists and lighting techs, for the volunteer who runs the kids ministry slides and the touring artist between flights — a room for anyone making something for the worshipping people of God.
What started as a hopeful experiment has become a movement. In under two years we have hosted four gatherings drawing thousands of creatives from more than one hundred and sixty churches across more than ten denominations.
This is more than a conference. It is a creative home — a place to dwell, to rest, to learn, and to be sent again.
Where the creative church comes home. ★ DWELL · Volume IV · Festival Hall
One night. One room. The biggest DWELL yet — gathered at Melbourne's Festival Hall for worship, masterclasses, and a homecoming for every maker the local church can send.
Before the doors of Festival Hall open, DWELL gathers smaller rooms. Three masterclasses for DWELL IV — songwriting with Mitch Wong, worship leading with JD, and Multitracks training with Bayley Lang. Plus a forthcoming Zoom series with global voices. Each one taught hands-on, in the room, by people who have spent years making the work.
Mitch unpacks the heart, theology, and practical tools behind impactful worship songwriting. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining your craft, learn to write songs that resonate deeply, are singable for congregations, and carry lasting spiritual weight.
JD shares insights on building meaningful worship moments, leading teams effectively, and engaging your congregation with authenticity. This session equips you to lead with sensitivity and purpose — on and off the platform.
Bayley Lang from Multitracks facilitates MD training for running tracks — how to use Multitracks (specifically Playback) to support your worship space, from preparation to live execution. Perfect for Music Directors and Production Leaders.
Beyond Festival Hall, DWELL is bringing leading voices from across the globe into smaller online rooms. Launching after May 12. Sign up below to hear when registration opens.
